Impact 2018 Digital Doctors

Impact is a unique CME concept held every year by NMOGS. Every year some interesting and unique and mostly non Obstetrics themes are taken. This year Impact 2018 held with theme of 'Digital Doctors' on 15th April.

First talk was 'Doctors are smart people' by a real techno savvy doctor Dr Sagar Sinha, a intensivist from MGM medical college, Navi Mumbai. Use of medical applications on smart phones with effectiveness was the Crux of his presentation.Audience involvement with the topic was very encouraging at the start of the CME.

'socialising online' was the second predation. So very much essential part of being smart was presented by a dynamic speaker Dr Mukesh Gupta, a Renowned Gynecologist with more than 2 million viewers for his you tube channel. Use of various social media platforms, content creation and tips was the essence of the talk. 'Making our website and marketing through it' was a important take away message given by our third speaker Dr Aniruddh Malpani, IVF specialist and powerful speaker. The title of the topic was 'How to use Internet to reach out to patients.

The third presentation topic' my kids are sooo smart '. An energetic and so very much appropriate speaker for the topic Dr Upendra Kinjwadeker is a paediatrician by profession. He showed us many different aspects of effect of media on kids and which ways we can controls those.

Whenever any addiction-deaddiction is talked about, psychiatrist comes into picture. So for our next talk 'Gadget addiction and deaddiction' Dr Omkar Mate, a renowned psychiatrist was invited and everybody was impressed by his tips and tricks for gadget deaddiction.

Then we arrived at the most important and prestigious part of CME 'Dr Shirish Daftary oration'.

Dr Uday Thanawala and Dr Vishnu agarwal were the chair persons and Dr Anjali Chhabria, the celebrity psychiatrist and Author of 'Death is not the answer' was the orator. The fluent delivery of her shocking and may be eye opening aspects of depression and suicide made us stick in the CME Hall. The presence of Dr Shirish always makes the occasion a big event.

Vote of thanks and group photo session of all speaker was followed by quick bite lunch. Dr Sachin Nichite was Master of ceremony.
